I am looking at re-enamelling my old cast iron bath tub. just wondering if anyone has ever done this - were you happy with the work and has it lasted?

Don't waste your money
I had my cast iron bath done about 15 yrs ago, in no time at all it stared peeling away around the plug hole, this was re-done and it only lasted a few weeks again.
Same here in that peeling has appeared around plug hole and a tube with sharp corner fell onto bath in first weeks and left a deep scratch. The bath has had little use and on balance happy that it was done as alternative was to break it up to get it out to replace it with right colour.
