Dublin City Council don't do them, which is my area. I would imagine there is huge demand given the amount of us culchies cooped up in tiny apartments.

Battery culchies - interesting idea!

I read something recently about cooperative/community gardens in some areas (specifically somewhere along the banks of the Royal Canal (Northside) if I recall correctly) in case you can track down the info and it might be of interest? I think it was in a recent Irish Times Saturday magazine supplement.

I can't remember exactly but I thought there were quite a few in Fingal so worth a checking out.
