Do the Netopia ADSL wi-fi Routers eircom supply support DDNS

Just wondering if the Netopia Routers eircom supply support DDNS ?

If they do, would there be anything to stop me hosting a simple website in my own house (this website would only be used by a handful of people)

Or do eircom stop people hosting websites in their homes ?
 
They one's they used to provide (Netopia 2200 series) didn't - I'm not sure what they are providing these days. You can always replace the one they provide with one that does support DDNS - I'd suggest a Zyxel model, would cost about €50. Eircom don't have restrictions so there is nothing (bar poor upload speeds) preventing you from doing this.
 
Do some providers stop people hosting their own websites ?


Can someone suggest a good model of Zyxel adsl wifi router (or a different manufacturer) ? which supports DDNS
