Does the profit & loss statement breakdown I get from my accountant once a year include the VAT I get charged by suppliers or not?
For example, does the line in the P&L breakdown for accountancy fees include VAT or not?
Yes. However, the line-item may not agree with your invoice - if that's what you're getting at - due to prepayments and accruals. There may also be other smaller items all rolled-up into that line-item e.g. Repairs & Renewals is a common line-item which can incorporate all sorts of stuff.
