Hi there,
A bit of background to explain my question... Third child on the way so we'll have 3 under 3. I'm currently driving a megane and while its older than I'd like, I have no complaints and enjoy driving it. Have 2 yr old twins in fwd facing rear seats at the moment.
I've been looking at MPVs with 3 full sized seats with 3 point harnesses and to be honest finding it hard to justify the cost of a new car for what seems compromised boot space and a tiny bit more bench space in the rear seats (my megane has 3 three point seatbealts so no issue there). I intend to put new baby in the front seat while in rear facing seat anyway so will have 2 high back boosters seats and one fwd facing seats in a years time. Obviously have to try this config to see if they fit!
I guess my question is are there any safely regulations that discourage this practice? I'd rather hang onto my megane for the meantime as it doesnt owe me a penny and buy a nice saloon or estate when it reaches the end of its life.
Appreciate any guidance on this!
Thanks, Duckie
