I work for an Irish employer but am based in China. I will be there for a few years including fully year 2009. I have a tax exclusion cert which means i don't pay PAYE in Ireland.
My employer has told me that I still need to pay the income levy, is this correct? I can't see how I would as I have no income in Ireland and I pay tax in china. Also no income repatriated to Ireland. thanks in advance
