Do Easyjet charge excess baggage rigidly over 20kg?

Does anybody know if easy let you be a little over on the baggage allowance? Do they start charging right after the 20kgs limit?

Here's the . In the past, many airline check-in staff have been known to apply a little discretion — except for Ryanair, of course! :rolleyes: — but I wouldn't count on it, even if you hear people claim that they got away with it...

Carry on the heavy stuff in your hand baggage! The average woman can easily fit more than 20kg in her handbag, from what I've seen... ;)
 
Some sort of dreadful joke about 'excess baggage' comes to mind, but I think I'll keep it right there... :p
