I am involved in a group that has charitable status. Is there an exemption from DIRT for deposits for that?

This certainly used to be the case, and I am not aware of any recent changes. The procedure was to present the letter from the Revenue with CHY reference number to the bank.
I am not sure if there is now a register on which the name of your charity appears.
