Hi there,

Currently applying for movers mortgage with KBC and UB.

Our own house is sale agreed and the left over cash will be our deposit. Have a small amount of savings just to show affordability ontop of current mortgage payments.

Will we need something to verify to banks that we will have x amount of cash as deposit? As in a solicitor letter or aomething?

Will ask banks Monday but just handy to know if anyone has any experience

Cheers

The 'sale agreed notice' letter from your estate agent will normally be sufficient. If it's a different bank to where your current mortgage is, they might need proof of current mortgage balance as well.
