Have been in a shared ownership with DLR. Last august converted to house
purchase loan. The new loan was then 174,280 Euro at Rate of 5% for 21 years. The monthly repayment as stated by DLR was 1110. This breaks down as follows: Prin.451 plus Int.716, total 1167. Deduct 143 tax relief on interest,
and add 86 for Mort.Pro., thus monthly repayment 1110.
When I do the same figures on online mort calculators eg Karls Mort Cal. or
others, the figure comes out at about 50 Euro less per month. The difference
is in the monthly Prin. amount which is always about 50 Euro less than the
451 shown by DLR.
DLR use a software called Cygnus Mort.calculator. The simply say that they feed the figures in and it comes out as above-end of discussion.
I wonder has anyone any explanation? (Mort Pro. is .598%)
