DIY Shops in Budapest

Having just purchased a flat in Budapest, does anybody know of the existence of DIY shops there? similar to B&Q or Homebase? Or a good hardware shop (they'r esually cheaper) where the items are on display and not a "trade only" type of place

Where is the apartment located? Maybe I could recommend a branch or independent store close to you?

If it's specifically DIY and not furniture (as B&Q and Homebase would also stock), then:

Praktiker (Stores: [broken link removed]) and

OBI (Most likely closest store is on Soroksari ut in District IX) are two of the bigger names.

Thanks for that. I found the Praktiker web site myself after some searching and its the closest to the apartment (district VI).
