district court - which one?

I want to take a case for non payment against a dundrum business. We are currently based in westmeath. Which court should we commence the action in. I have heard that in the local court we can get there in 3 months while it can take up to a year in Dublin.

Any help appreciated.

Where was the contract made? That decides the venue. You could ring your local dcc office and ask their advice or visit in person.
