Hi,

Im thinking of moving to Dun Laoire / Blackrock, but was just wondering if anyone knows how long it would take in a car in the morning / evening traffic ????

busy part of the city, especially around Sandyford. They are not that far away from each other in terms of distance, but its a v. busy commute

I have a friend living in Blackrock and he ditched the car in favour of a motorbike to beat the traffic around there

He works in Pfizer

Would cycling be an option?

I've cycled from Dalkey to Templeogue through Sandyford in 1h10m. No spring chicken myself .

yeah, i quite fancy myself cycling to work. having said that, i can barely walk up the stairs, but im sure it would be good exercise !

I cycle from dunlaoghaire to city centre everyday, no hassle. But dun laoghaire to sandyford requires going uphill all the way to work, but downhill all the way home. Should only take about 30-mins though.

uphill to work in the morning..........that requires some more thought !!
