Disposing of drinking glasses - where?

Where can I dispose of cracked or broken drinking glasses. I don't think the bottle bank takes these? Also tea cups and items of crockery etc?

Does your rubbish bin collection service provide a seperate glass recycling box? Ours does and we can fill it with bottles, jars, broken glass etc. Easiest way to get rid of it.

Otherwise I can't see why you couldn't dispose of broken glasses in the clear glass recycle bins. Bottles etc. get smashed when thrown into it anyway. Cups and other stuff would be more problematic...

There is no crockery recycling. So smash it up and make mosaics....or send it to landfill.

Bottle banks accept regular drinking glasses. Toughened or leaded glass may be a problem though, check with the provider.
