disabled importing motor home - cost?

I write as I'm having serious difficulty finding out about importing a Camper Van.

My mother lives with me & is disabled, she has a disabled pass. We are looking at purchasing a new Camper Van in the UK, it will have modifications for to accomadate my mother. It is over 3 tonne unladen & has internal head room of over 1.8mtrs.

What VRT / VAT will we have to pay on same, or are there any other considerations for us? As I believe, we will be VAT exempt & VRT will be €85.

I have tried ringing the VRT offices (the ones that will answer) but they don't know! (Bizare!), I've also tried 'Disabled Ireland' but no answer there either.

Anybody here know?
