DIRT being deducted at 33% and I thought it was meant to be 30%

I just noticed AIB are charging me DIRT @ 33% and not 30%.

Reading http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/dirt/index.html this looks to me to be incorrect as they are calculating interest annually.

any advice?

It was increased to 33% in January AFAIK. See bottom of page here

Tax on deposit interest:

• Deposit income is taxable via (1) DIRT at 33% from 1 January 2013 at source and (2) via PRSI at different rates but frequently 4% from 1 January 2014. Exceptions apply to DIRT for those aged 65 or over subject to meeting certain criteria.
