He will loose out on a certian amount of control at the least. Assuming that the other directors work for the company they can vote that their salaries are doubled. Shareholders have very little (actually no) power whereas directors do.
Hi - Quick question for anyone our there. My brother is a company director with less than 15% shareholding. He has been asked to consider resigning his directorship to bring new non exec directors onto the board...... don't know the specifc details...... but does he lose out on any entitlements/advantages if he goes ahead with it ?
