Direct Debit Payments

Hi,

I need help sorting out this direct debit thing, I plan to do business with customers through my website and I want to know the following...

1. Is it difficult to be accepted by the banks etc. as a direct debit originator or does everybody have the right to become an originator?

2. Like I said the business is online so how can I have the customer sign the direct debit mandate?

1. The Bank need to be happy that you are not going to DD a go a runner, so the look at your history and may want copires of accounts etc etc.

2. DD Plus / Origionator Plus allows you to DD without written mandate, but they are more fussy about who they will allow use it.
