Direct Debit from Irish Bank to UK Bank?

Hi - Very quick query....Does anybody know whether I can set up a Standing Order or Direct Debit from my Bank of Ireland Current Account to go to a personal bank account in the UK....? If this can't be done, is there an alternative to pay into a bank account somehow on a monthly basis... Any help appreciated....Many Thanks

There is no automated way to do it, AFAIK.

These guys do it, you organise the standing order locally and they pay out in Uk
