Dire Straits reforming?

Has anyone heard that Dire Straits are reforming for a world tour? Is there any truth in it?
 
well shure if you were in dire straits wouldn't you do anything.....

Is a reform necessary?

Surely Mark Knopfler (Correct spelling?) and the group itself are one and the same sound. HE IS Dire Straits. He could turn up with a bunch of session musicians and it would still sound like the original.
