Digital camera - thumbnails pics on A4 page

This may sound stupid but could anybody tell me what sort of camera I require. For work purposes I need to put people on camera (live action) and then have a thumbnail pic of everybody for id purposes, preferably fitting as many thumbnails onto 1 page as possible. The only camera I have is a Sony VideoHi8 which is about 6yrs old and I'm loathe to change it as I rarely use it, can I buy a camera that allows recording of moving image and also print out thumbnails? Haven't a clue when it comes to this sort of technology, bought a Sony rdr710 dvd hd recorder yesterday to transfer old video tapes onto dvd.

Most mid-range digital cameras now include some sort of video capacity. If you don't need sound, something as cheap/basic as should do the trick. The supplied [broken link removed] will capture frames from a video clip and let you print off pages of thumbnails without any problem (although you'll get better quality if you take 'stills' in the first place).
