Digital camera guide

Having dropped my trusty 5-year old OLYMPUS digital camera in a sea water on holiday, I am now in the market for a new one.

Any advice on where to get get good independent advice on digital cameras, ideally one that compares features across models and offers recommendations ?

http://www.dpreview.com/ is good although you may have to look up the European equivalent model nos. of some of the US models.
