hi
I am booking a hotel and have to give credit card details for security and the site that is used is Digicert 2048 - the hotel is in Italy?

Have never come across Digicert 2048 before, it is safe to use when giving a credit card for security?

You would get a security warning in your browser if the cert being used was not trusted e.g. if it was self signed.
