Different TV channels from digital providers

I used to have Sky Digital and now have NTL because of where I live. When I had Sky, although ITV wasn't officially on the channel list, we were able to manually tune it in by entering a certain frequency. Now I'm on NTL there are channels that Sky has that NTL doesn't, like UKTV Style, Living TV2 and a couple others. Does anyone know if there's a way of getting these channels as an NTL subscriber? It seems weird to me that they're not there since we have all the other UKTV channels, like UKTV Gold etc. and we have Living 1.
Any ideas?

Absolutely no way with NTL-you are stuck with what they give you-I wish you could mix and match-personally i'd offload many that I never watch -the novelty factor is gone!
