Difference between decking oil and decking seal

What's the difference between these two? We got our decking done last summer and have never applied any product to it. We want to get something on it to protect it so what's best to use - oil or seal? Also, can a colour stain be used after these products?

I'm not an expert at this but I imagine a sealer doesn't penetrate the wood like oil will.
Not sure which is better, it would depend on whether you've used hard or soft wood, I can say which I would use, oil.
Oil has to be reapplied every year either one or more times to keep your colour.
Several decking products have colour added to them.
