Did EBS offer Mortgage Holiday Breaks

Can anyone help me on this one. I am 99% sure I was told about a 6 month mortgage holiday break when I signed up for a mortgage with EBS 10 years ago. I am having no luck with the bank and they have actually sent me a letter stating that at no time did EBS offer holiday breaks on mortgages. Just wondering if any EBS customers on here can tell me otherwise.. Cheers..

Is it anywhere in your terms and conditions if you have the paperwork? Even if they said it at the time, we are in very different times now and what was given with no difficulty back then to the occasional customer who looked for it is now becoming an epidemic for the banks. I would say unless you can find written confirmation of it being a feature of your mortgage product then it will be case by case basis.

I do not have it in writing but as I say I am 99% sure that the mortgage advisor at the time informed me of these payment breaks and it was the first time I had heard of such a thing. They are saying that EBS never offered holiday breaks so I'm just wondering has anyone got one in the past from EBS.
