Did anyone hear the Newstalk morning programme this morning with Ger Gilroy and Claire Byrne?

They got someone to travel with a commuter from Navan to Dublin but it was more like an anti FF campaign, from numerous comments about the poor infrastructure, affordability of houses, FTBs.........to a canvasser on a roundabout mentioning how if he was in the current government what a hard time he'd get. Even got in a comment about Charlie's ties! I'm an 'undecided' and it brought a smile to my face but have to wonder how they managed it.

Re: Newstalk this morning

Claire Byrne is utterly useless and no co-host could possible make up for her inarticulate, aggressive and incoherent interviewing style.
I think that NewsTalk have made a huge mistake hiring her. I blame the programme editor (or whomever is in charge of such things) for not enforcing some sort of balance and professionalism.
Ger Gilroy would be OK if he was on his own but at heart he’s a sports journalist and it comes through all the time.

Yes, put her back on TV. It doesn't really matter what she is saying then, at least we can still look at her!

Re: Newstalk this morning

Why not just buy some porn if you want titillation?

Re: Did anyone hear the Newstalk morning programme this morning with Ger Gilroy? 22/5

How do you titillate an ocelot?
You oscillate her tit a lot.

titillate
verb [I or T]
to excite intentionally but only a little, usually with sexual images or descriptions:
So many adverts nowadays are designed to titillate.
HUMOROUS Carter's biography is only spoiled by the fact that he refuses to titillate (= interest) his readers with any gossip

Clubman I never even considered porn! I don't think Claire Byrne would be involved in any of that malarkey. I merely made the point that she has a face for TV!
