Did anyone buy the new '07 Mondeo?

Did anyone buy the new model Mondeo and, if so, how do you find it? I think it's a little on the ugly side but it gets fantastic reviews so I'm thinking of buying one as a company car for one of my reps. Since he'll probably out-grow it in a year or two and then I'd bump it on to the missus for at least a further 2 years to lug baby buggies etc I'd like to know it's a good 'un.

Haven't test driven it myself yet but want to do so next week. In the meantime opinions welcome, especially about trim levels and motors. What's the best value for money?

Model in question is the 125hp diesel.

I bought one for my wife in July. Must say its a lovely car to drive although not doing big milage.

The Zetec is the minimum spec you should go for. The little extras like dual zone air con and cruise control are great.

The boot is massive - never seen anything as big.

No Complaints.

Test drove it last week. 1.8td Zetec, 125BHP. very impressive car. Tempting. Would you wait til January or would there be tax reasons for you to purchase now?
