We have been contemplating very strongly at buying a house (4 bed detached) in Waterford.
Small development of approx 60 houses.
Over 15 months the asking price has dropped by €170k.
However, the Developer is now in receivership with 2 banks having a charge on the development. Estate agent can't confirm whats happening
as regards the fall-out.
Should we keep well clear or try proceed and get a real bargain albeit having to get involved in a possibly risky purchase.
