Des Bishop

Saw Des Bishop on RTE recently ...think it was his show from Vicar street....very funny, talking about the hurling finals etc...

Does anyone know if this is the same material as his 'fitting in' show that coming up again in Vicar street in Nov?

Would like to see him but not if its the same stuff that was on TV recently ...

I went to see the show last month and it was brilliant. Based on his experiences of trying to fit in with the less well to do areas of the country, mainly the travelling community on Tuam but also some material in Ballymun.
Just skip his support act, he seems to use the same guy all the time as I've had to endure him twice now. He told the same jokes both times and the content is incredibly crude and unfunny.

I never thought I'd find Des Bishop funny. I couldnt stand his american accent and the show where he worked in various minimum wage jobs was terrible. But I caught the show on RTE recently aswell and I was very surprised at how funny he is. I was considering going to the Vicar Street show aswell.
