I paid a deposit on a piece of furniture and was due to collect it when my building work finished. It has now reduced by 100 euro …am I bound by the original price ?
I don’t think so but you probably would loose your deposit if you cancelled the purchase and tried to buy it again at a lower price. You can chat to them, there is no harm asking, they may or may not let you have it for the lower price.
In paying the deposit, you have entered a contract to purchase the furniture. It may be that there is a clause for you to edit the contract be forfeiting the deposit but it's not common.
