Hi there folks,
I'm researching a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas with my missus this July

We have 8 or 9 days to get from Denver to Vegas, by car.
We would like to take in a couple of hikes (short to full day) or maybe a rafting session
Happy to do long early morning drives so we can get to a scenic point for the afternoon

Moab/Arches/canyonlands is a must - Grand Canyon is not - would like to know about 14ers that might be doable on route

Anyone done this journey? thks

Ive done the SanFran to Las Vegas trip but not a Denver to LV one. We were recommended to go to Bryce and Zion Natl parks but didnt have the time. They seem like they'd be good for your journey and they are supposed to be fab.
Here is a link to a vacation planner for a 14day trip Dev to LV. It might give you some ideas.
Have a ball!

If you are doing Canyonlands and Moab you don't really need to do Bryce or Zion, as IMO they are the 'little brothers' of those two. Would recommend you do Monument Valley if possible though, a bit off the route but an absolute must-see.
