Dental X- Rays

Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to ask your dentist for a copy of your x ray.
If you want to go to another dentist etc and want to save money for repeating the x rays.

I know this is not the same thing but when you get your eyes tested you are entitled to a copy of your results/prescription to enable you to purchase the glasses/contacts elsewhere if you wish. I would imagine that once you have paid the dentist for the x-rays you are entitled to the originals and anything else that is on your file.

Yes I got them from my dentist. Just ask for your file.

Yes - the dentist is legally bound to give you your XRays if you want them. The same applies to any XRays you have done.
Just ask.
