Dental Crowns: Questions about service availability and pricing?

Hi There,

My boyfriend lost a tooth in a biking accident while in his teens (he was walking with his bike and tripped!!!). At the time he got a cap or crown (we think....he's not sure if it was an implant), which was redone when he hit 18 because it looked so bad. The second job was not much better...basically there is a black area across the top of the tooth between the tooth and the gum which looks quite bad.
He is now looking into getting this done again (properly), as in this day and age of cosmetic dentistry there is no reason for him to have a gammy front tooth!
Does anyone know, would this job involve a replacement of the crown, or it is possible to get a filler to close in the gap between tooth and gum? Any ideas how much this would cost?

Re: Dental Crowns: question

Sorry Clubman, wasn't aware of this. Will wait and seek advice from the experts so!

Re: Dental Crowns: question

Questions about service availability and pricing are OK.

Re: Dental Crowns: question

no idea on actual costs other than it'd probably be cheaper to have it fixed in Newry than down here ;)
