Delta Chelsea Hotel, Toronto

Hi,

Has anyone any experience of staying in The Delata Chelsea Hotel in Toronto? Trip Advisor reviews are mixed so would appreciate any comments- good or bad.

We stayed there for two nights. The rooms were very nice and the food was good there. I didn't find the staff too friendly but they weren't rude either. The hotel is also very central. The bus from Pearson airport stops right outside the hotel. I didn't find there was too much to do in Toronto but I would recommend going for dinner in the revolving restaurant in the CN Tower. The menu looks expensive but when you take the fact you don't have to pay the entrance price off the bill it is not too bad.

The Intercontental just off Bloor St. opposite the Royal Ontario Museum is a great hotel with swimming pool on 7th floor. Stayed there for honeymoon last July. Its a smaller 5star hotel but less impersonal than some of the larger ones. There is a bus from Pearson, rooms are great and a bit less seedy than downtown.
