dell printers

I got an all-in-one but I found print quality quite poor and they were not as user friendly as HP printers.

Dell printers are re-badged Lexmarks. Do some homework by at least researching on .

Lexmark consumables (ink cartridges) are some of the most expensive if I recall correctly. You should make sure to estimate the running costs of the printer and not just the purchase costs as the latter can be dwarfed by the former in many cases!

I've owned a couple of inkjets in the past and the thing I've noticed is that if they go unused for a while they (the cartridges) can sieze up/go dry. Try not to be sold by the photocopy function of these 3-in-1 devices. You can probably pick up a scanner for €70/€80 in PC World or one of the Compustore liquidation sales. I'd invest in HP or Canon for printing purposes. There's also a Samsung laser printer (ML15xx) available for €150 or so.
