The 2yo DELL Inspiron 1520 is acting up this evening.
When booting from 'Off', the PC is now running through a DELL Media Direct (DMD) installation sequence. At some point it stops, advising that it cannot access the hard drive, and the PC shuts down.
The PC came with DMD installed. Last year, the Mrs did a re-install of everything to remove a virus and didn't re-install DMD. We haven't felt it's absence .. before now
Haven't figured out/stumbled across a way of getting around this. Anyone here know of this problem and a way to fix it ?
