Delisting for VAT

Hi

i have been registered for VAT for 2 years
as i am now under the new threshold for VAT exemption and have more to gain by being delisted, can anyone tell me how a company goes about doing this?

The increase announced in last month's budget does not take effect until 1st May 2008, so presumably you can do nothing until then at least.

Just write a letter to your local office stating that you wish to deregister from vat from whatever date as your sales are below treshold
