We've just purchased a second hand property (we're first time buyers). The purchase was due to complete on April 12th, but hasn't yet (due to delays on the seller's side). We had been given another completion date of tomorrow, but this has now been pushed back into next week.
In our situation, is there really nothing we can do (short of pestering our solicitor)?
Has anyone taken specific action in this situation (which I think is quite common), or have any advice?
