Just wondering where do I stand. My 1st stage payment was due to be paid to the builder last Friday. I now won't have the cheque until tomorrow Thursday do to confusion between the solicitor and the bank with regards what was necessary to issue the cheque. I've heard a delay like this can cost up to 6000euro. As none of this is my fault where do I stand regards my obligation to pay this penalty charge?
