Is there any reason that would delay an Estate's distribution to beneficiaries as other than being notified I am a one of the beneficiaries
by solicitors in Ireland acting for the Administrator some 20 months ago, I have no other details.
Strangely, I asked my sister living in the UK (I live in Australia) as was curious re the Estate but she said she knew nothing and had not
heard from the solicitors. Very weird as she would be one of four beneficiaries. The other two beneficiaries are unwilling to speak with
me and one is the Estate's Administrator. Sadly, it is a complicated long standing situation and is not likely to change unfortunately.
By reading here and recently searching I have found the Letters of Administration were granted September, 2020 and my deceased
Uncle's house was sold for Euro130,00 in December, 2020? I was told by the solicitors I would not need a PPS Number and posted
here in May, 2020 when I was told this meant my distribution would be under Euro26,000 - 80% of 32,500.
Any suggestions on the above would be appreciated as I have not lived in Ireland for over 32 years so have no idea what the outcome
should be but would be grateful for the inheritance if I should ever receive it.
