I am a deferred member in my old employers pension scheme. I am trying to decide if I should transfer to a buy out bond. What factors should be considered?

Charges.
Costs of my old employers scheme is 0.70% pa. A broker is offering buy out bond of 0.80 pa.

There seems to be a lot of options in terms of buy out bond versus limited Irish life options with old employers schemes.

Other than higher fees , what else should I consider?

What fund/s are you moving from/to?

What's the transfer value?

Is 100% of your value being invested and will there be exit charges on the BoB? If so, for how long?

From Irish life to TBD fund. I have not got to stage of allocation rate , for me anything less than 100% is bad. No fund BoB selected but hadn’t considered exit fees .
