Default on Payments Guarantor

My wife against my wishes signed as a guarantor for my daughter for a loan at the local CU.
If she defaults on her payments, can they demand payment from me as well as my wife?
We are both on pensionable earnings, in my wife’s case a state pension only.

How much is the loan?

Arguably if your wife is owner of house they might go for a judgment if a default of both occurs.
