Deeds and Divorce: What happens in Vegas

How liable are you over the assets you acquire in a divorce? The ex was a compulsive gambler, who basically landed us in bankruptcy. I got everything that was salvageable, including a few things of his from that now are of little value, that I don’t want and don’t want to be responsible over. His timeshare in Vegas from previous marriage is the worst one, as I have to pay maintenance fees, and I HATE Las Vegas. How can I get this thing out of my name for good? Can I go back and dispute/appeal parts of the settlement?
