Thanks JohnJay. I am only looking to purchase about 6 metres also I am looking for the thicker rope. The B&Q link does not give the thickness of the rope. Worth a trip though. There is a chandlers in Howth that might have it but I was hoping to get a cut off locally.

I was in Brooks the other day. They had coloured rope but it was of the thinner type. Woodies also have the sisal rope but again it was of the thinner variety.
