I have decided to pull out of a property purchase in France.
I have e-mailed both the Estate Agent and the Notaire advising them of my decision and reasons.
No contracts have been signed yet at all.
I transferred a payment to the Notaire about 2 months ago.
I was advised by e-mail at the time that that money continued to be mine until the sale went through. I was also advised that all fees due would be commission based, based on the sale price and would only be due if the purchase went through.
I have now sent a few e-mails to both the Estate Agents and the Notaire and I have not received any acknowledgement to them or any indication as to when my monies will be returned to me.
What would you advise me to do next?
