A friend of mine is having problems paying off loans - 2 credit union loans in particular but he also has a mortgage.
He is thinking of approaching a debt management company such as debtplan Ireland or debt relief I think they are called.
He is aware than even if one of these companies, who will probably charge a fee, manages to reduce his monthly outgoings for the next 6/12 months he will still have to pay the interest due at some point or so he says anway.
Has anyone ever come across these companies.
Any advice appreciated.
