Since a few people have asked about this sort of stuff recently and in the past these links might be of interest:

The 2.4GHz cordless phone issue is probably more common in the USA since DECT at 1800-1900MHz is more common here but there are some other useful tips in this and the linked articles). These articles are from a few years back but the details are still pertinent.

More to do with variations or alternatives to 802.11b/g rather than dealing with issues with existing b/g networks.
