DDs not taken from ptsb current a/c

I have a few DDs going from my current a/c they always go out of my a/c on thur night sometimes they dont (bank holiday) but this wK its now Fri 23o and no money has been taken.

where do I stand if I get hit with charges etc for late payment of bills?

Speak to the company controlling the DD... have they presented an amount for payment and was there sufficient funds avaialable? I wouldn't wait until a surcharge is pit on the account as it could be more hassle than it's worth.

Normally its the company that you owe money too , that reaches into your account via DD and take out what they are due ,in other words it is their responsibility to debit your account , not yours to worry about.

I don,t expect you to have any issues , I hope !
