Will she exchange her Irish licence for a UK one? A non-Irish licence for a named driver generally increases cost. Will she still be covered now she has moved to the UK ?

central londonWhy would she?she won’t be driving in the uk.
It’s almost certainly a condition of your insurance that you have to be resident at the address you give them.can’t see any reason why I need to inform anyone
As above, if this is a policy in your name, then your address is one of the primary factors that goes into forming your policy. An insurer would almost certainly consider that a material fact. Failing to disclose same will invalidate your insurance and make it difficult and very expensive to arrange in future. Different rules apply for named drivers.TBH I’m thinking of moving abroad next year and just leave the car in the driveway insured and drive it when I’m home once a month…can’t see any reason why I need to inform anyone
My current AIG policy (and others that I've had in the past with other insurers) doesn't ask for the address details of any named drivers (who don't live with me). However it does ask "How long has this driver been a permanent resident in Republic of Ireland?".It’s almost certainly a condition of your insurance that you have to be resident at the address you give them.
Whether they can prove the contrary in the event of a claim is another matter however….
